Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the global technical authority for control valve application engineering, providing sizing, selection, and process optimization for severe-service conditions.
  • •Review and approve critical valve sizing/selection calculations; troubleshoot challenging customer applications and recommend mitigations.
  • •Ensure compliance with IEC 60534, ISA standards, ASME B16.34, API requirements, PED, SIL, NACE, and customer specifications.
  • •Support digital tools for sizing and configuration, and drive application engineering excellence through automation and continuous improvement.
  • •Coach and mentor application/product/sales engineers and partners; lead technical training, documentation standards, technical reviews, and lessons-learned integration.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
  • •Minimum 12+ years of experience in Control Valve Application Engineering, Product Engineering, Process Engineering, or Valve Technology.
  • •Demonstrated expertise in severe service and critical control applications.
  • •Strong understanding of process control systems and plant operations.
  • •Ability to perform control valve sizing per IEC 60534/ISA standards and apply relevant severe service trim, actuator sizing, and materials/corrosion management knowledge.
