Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and work alongside a small team of Analytics Engineers, Data Architects, and Modelers, including hiring, coaching, and developing talent.
  • •Design, build, and deliver scalable data solutions hands-on using Snowflake, dbt, SQL, and Microsoft Azure.
  • •Establish engineering standards for dbt/SQL/data modeling, documentation, version control, testing, and deployment; guide reusable dbt models and dimensional modeling.
  • •Build quality into development using dbt tests, data contracts, documentation, peer review, and partner with Quality Engineering on test frameworks and release certification.
  • •Optimize Snowflake performance and cost, manage priorities and delivery commitments, and embed dbt tests and quality gates into Git-based CI/CD pipelines while supporting root-cause analysis of production data defects.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • •8+ years of progressive experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, Data Warehouse Development, or related roles.
  • •3+ years of experience leading technical teams, managing engineering delivery, and developing employees.
  • •4+ years of deep hands-on experience delivering enterprise data solutions using Snowflake, dbt, SQL, and Microsoft Azure.
  • •Production-grade dbt experience including modular models, macros, testing, documentation, lineage, freshness, snapshots, and incremental processing.
