Job Summary

Conduct natural resource field surveys and support environmental studies in WSP’s Earth & Environment team. Perform wetland delineations, T&E surveys, and natural resource inventories while maintaining quality control and accurate documentation in electronic systems and field notebooks. Assist with ecological systems and water resources work, follow safety and site procedures, and use instrumentation and modern techniques to evaluate habitat and potential environmental impacts.

Key Responsibilities

•Under general supervision, conduct natural resource field surveys.
•Perform wetland delineations, T&E surveys, and natural resource inventories (NRIs).
•Maintain quality control standards and procedures for accurate measurements and documentation.
•Assist with basic professional environmental science work related to ecological systems and water resources.
•Generate complete documentation and comply with safety guidelines and site-specific procedures.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Ecology, Natural Resource Management, or a related life sciences field.
•0 to 1 years of relevant post-education experience.
•Analytical skills and familiarity with research techniques, local/regional ecology, habitats, and applicable species/discipline.
•Familiarity with relevant environmental laws, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements.
•Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for office and project locations.
