Job Summary

Develop and maintain software integrated into Air Traffic Management Systems (ATMS) products supporting safety-of-life air traffic control. Collaborate with an Agile engineering team through standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog grooming, and story pointing. Contribute to documentation and work instructions aligned to high-maturity software engineering standards, and support design, development, integration, and testing across the software lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and maintain software integrated into Air Traffic Management Systems (ATMS) products.
•Assist in maintaining documentation and work instructions to meet ATS SED software engineering standards and processes.
•Collaborate with the team in Agile activities including standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog grooming, and story pointing.
•Work with an integrated engineering team, participating in communication with engineering, program management, and external stakeholders.
•Support the design, development, integration, and testing of operational software components throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Requirements

•Degree in a STEM field and less than 2 years of relevant experience.
•Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
•Exposure to software development, integration, testing, or validation, preferably in a Unix/Linux environment.
•Familiarity with Java or C/C++ programming languages.
•Proficiency with scripting languages such as Bash and Python; basic containerization knowledge (e.g., Docker, Podman, Kubernetes).
