Job Summary

Maintain and repair pump, power, and HVAC equipment at the Advanced Solutions rental facility, and troubleshoot failures in the shop and at customer sites. Use laptops and tablets to create and monitor work orders, track service intervals, order parts, and document daily work. Perform preventive maintenance, assist with setup and operation, support training for lower-level technicians, and coordinate pick-up and delivery of parts while following safe practices.

Key Responsibilities

•Practice safe job practices while repairing equipment.
•Create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals; order parts; diagnose issues using real-time data.
•Travel to customer job sites as needed to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment such as power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and oil-free air compressors.
•Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and customer locations and handle repairs.
•Maintain complete electronic paperwork/work orders daily and assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.

Key Requirements

•Own tools applicable to the position.
•Have advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
•Experience inspecting, maintaining, and repairing power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment.
•Be able to calculate nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements and read schematics.
•EPA 608 certification preferred (obtain within 6-12 months if not already owned).
