Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct real-time security event monitoring and analysis to support incident response and threat detection.
  • •Analyze security event logs and alerts to determine validity, priority, and impact using best practices and corporate policies.
  • •Investigate confirmed security events and provide actionable recommendations for business response.
  • •Manage and maintain alert tickets and reported events in the SOC through creation, tracking, actioning, and proper closure.
  • •Contribute to SIEM/SOAR operations including tuning SIEM rules and creating custom log source integrations, and document investigations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer Security or comparable experience.
  • •3+ years of experience in a SOC or security-related role.
  • •Experience analyzing security events with SIEM, EDR, and email security/event logs.
  • •Strong understanding of threat correlation, mitigation, and incident response processes.
  • •Must have at least one certification: any SANS certification, Security+, or CEH.
