Operate heavy asphalt and road construction equipment to grade, pave, and support groundwork projects that build roads and infrastructure connecting communities. Control paving material flow and depth, manage asphalt placement quality, and handle additional tasks such as curbing, spreading, and finishing. Key Responsibilities

•Control material flow and depth during paving operations.
•Set up work by understanding paving process elements like surface prep, grades, drainage, and paving patterns.
•Operate paving machines for smooth, consistent asphalt placement, and run additional machines for curbing, spreading, and finishing.
•Perform routine equipment servicing and minor maintenance; report major issues.
•Drive and operate curbing machines and other equipment (e.g., backhoes, loaders, dump trucks, snow plows) and help coordinate jobsite traffic.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED required.
•Minimum 1 year of relevant equipment operation or construction experience (3 years road construction preferred).

•Commitment to safety and compliance with OSHA/MSHA regulations, including ability to pass physical, drug screening, and background check.
