Key Responsibilities

  • •Embrace and encourage GEMS Core Values and standards of excellence while delivering the required curriculum.
  • •Plan and deliver quality lessons, creating appropriate materials and classroom environments to support different learning styles.
  • •Maintain records (curriculum and year plans, attendance, teaching resources, assessment plans) and demonstrate planning evidence on request.
  • •Teach students based on individual needs using appropriate strategies (e.g., late-entering students, ESL, low academic ability, gifted and talented).
  • •Assess, record, and report student progress and attainment; support well-being, guidance, and safe, appropriate behavior management.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Education degree in Early Years (or) Bachelor Degree plus Teaching Qualification (PGCE or Teaching Diploma) approved by KHDA.
  • •Minimum 2 years teaching in reputed schools with experience in a Homeroom/Classroom for KG.
  • •Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • •Good ICT skills.
  • •IELTS Academic score of 7.5.
