Job Summary

Provide global technical leadership and define best practice for subsea wellheads, completions, and well systems across subsea projects and product development. Serve as a recognized technical authority, manage technical risk, drive reuse of standards, and guide technical staffing and succession planning. Support engineering quality governance (QMS), lead or sponsor quality, HSE, product safety, and improvement initiatives, and mentor technical title holders.

Key Responsibilities

•Define, govern, and advance global best practice for subsea wellheads, completions, and well systems across subsea projects and product development.
•Act as recognized technical authority and advisor, serving as key technical contact for customer escalations and critical technical reviews.
•Resolve complex cross-functional technical issues and clearly communicate outcomes to leadership and customers.
•Manage technical risk by identifying risks early, defining mitigations, and bringing technical conflicts to closure.
•Steward engineering Quality Management System (QMS) governance and lead/sponsor quality, HSE, Product Safety, and technical improvement initiatives; support technical title holder pipeline review and mentoring.

•Degree (Hons) in Mechanical, Petroleum, Subsea Engineering or related discipline.
•Demonstrated Chief Engineer / Technical Authority experience in Subsea Xmas Trees, subsea completions and wellheads.
•Ability to influence at senior levels internally and externally.
•Strong communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
•Strong QMS/BMS experience including audits, CIR/RCA/CAPA and governance.
