Implement and optimize advanced algorithms, design robust software with Product Management, and apply linear algebra methods to complex mechanics problems. Debug and troubleshoot numerical and algorithmic issues across a large legacy and modern Fortran codebase while optimizing parallel performance for modern hardware.

•Implement and optimize advanced structural dynamics capabilities in commercial FEA software.
•Translate automotive and aerospace requirements into robust software designs with Product Management.
•Apply linear algebra techniques to solve engineering mechanics problems.
•Develop and optimize parallel code for high-performance, bug-free execution on modern hardware.
•Diagnose, debug, and resolve complex numerical and algorithmic issues in a legacy and modern Fortran codebase.

Key Requirements

•PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mechanics or Civil Engineering.
•Proven experience implementing, enhancing, and debugging algorithms in a commercial-grade parallel finite element code.
•High proficiency in C++, FORTRAN, and Python, with comfort navigating, refactoring, and fixing bugs in a codebase.
•Mastery of advanced structural dynamics (transient, modal, frequency-response, and non-linear dynamic analyses).
•Strong expertise in applied linear algebra for engineering mechanics (e.g., sparse solvers, eigenvalue problems).
