Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver estimating, quantity surveying, and cost management across the project lifecycle from planning through construction.
  • •Estimate and negotiate change orders, prepare cost plans, and provide commercial input to design optioneering and value engineering exercises.
  • •Review and reconcile contractor and design-team cost estimates and submissions; validate cost data for accuracy.
  • •Manage valuations, post-contract cost variances, change control processes, contingency/commitment tracking, and cost auditing/valuation.
  • •Prepare and present monthly cost reports and support funding data presentations, VE sessions, and final account negotiations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related construction field.
  • •Minimum 5-7 years of cost management experience in the construction industry.
  • •RICS accredited or working toward accreditation preferred.
  • •Experience leading cost management on medium or large construction projects with medium to high complexity.
  • •Strong construction industry knowledge, including procurement routes, value management, and value engineering.
