Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with OEMs, end customers, and ISV/IHV partners to understand workload and use cases that enable joint roadmap definition.
  • •Partner with engineering to drive reference platform requirements and unify platform/system-level vision across stakeholders.
  • •Collaborate with SoC design teams and product management to influence AMD’s SoC roadmap.
  • •Drive workload and application-level strategies internally and with industry partners/ecosystem.
  • •Represent and promote AMD datacenter system-level vision in industry consortiums, events, and strategic partnerships.

Key Requirements

  • •BS/MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 10+ years of applicable experience.
  • •Broad and deep system technology background across the HW/SW stack for memory, storage, and data infrastructure.
  • •Experience developing and influencing enterprise storage platform/sub-system strategies for markets such as Cloud, AI, Storage, HPC, Edge, 5G, or Embedded compute.
  • •Ability to translate workload/application trends into system architecture and SoC implications and turn technical concepts into actionable plans.
  • •Proven ability to drive hands-on proof of concepts to collect data and facts, and make analytical, tradeoff-based recommendations.
