Key Responsibilities

  • •Before painting and insulation start, review procedures and material data sheets for compliance with project specifications and site operational requirements.
  • •Ensure quality control checks and tests are initiated and recorded for surface preparation, dry film thickness, adhesion tests, and temperature/humidity levels in line with agreed ITP, method statements, and specifications.
  • •Where applicable, supervise paint shop activities to support execution of the painting and insulation scope.
  • •Record approved modifications and corrections on red-lined ‘as-built’ piping line lists and verify they are correct with field personnel.
  • •Enforce Wood values and safe, ethical behavior to support safe and reliable operations and client satisfaction.

Key Requirements

  • •Vocation, diploma, or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or related field.
  • •Minimum 10 years’ experience working in live plant, greenfield, and turnaround/revamp work for oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical, power plant, or similar plants.
  • •Extensive track record managing painting/insulation construction activities within oil & gas or petrochemical sectors.
  • •Experience supervising construction staff to achieve effective construction execution.
  • •Excellent communication and presentation skills with strong written/verbal communication and coordination across disciplines.
