Key Responsibilities

  • •Run design activities across all design phases for hyperscale data center construction and other client projects, serving as the client’s authorized representative until hand-off.
  • •Facilitate planning and kickoff workshops, design reviews with external partners, and large-scale coordination workshops (including “page turns”).
  • •Author scopes of work, issue and administer contracts, and define and track deliverables from design consultants.
  • •Track and report cost, schedule, scope, and progress; provide health reporting on project performance.
  • •Coordinate design activities with procurement and construction, support technical decisions, and ensure engineering information is issued to the right party in the right format.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
  • •Professional licensure (PE, NCARB, RA) strongly preferred, or significant professional experience (+10 years) as a substitute.
  • •Prior experience with data center design and/or construction preferred.
  • •Strong understanding of construction principles and practices, including preparation of project plans and specifications.
  • •Working understanding of AutoCAD for drawing reviews and mark-ups.
