Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist with collecting, compiling, and analyzing data related to mechanical building systems, equipment selection, energy performance, utility coordination, and building codes.
  • •Perform entry-level mechanical engineering tasks for HVAC, plumbing, and building mechanical systems in accordance with rules, standards, and permits.
  • •Support routine engineering functions including equipment sizing, ductwork and piping, ventilation strategies, thermal comfort, and sustainable design initiatives.
  • •Provide basic technical assistance on engineering, design, testing, maintenance, and construction procedures by verifying site characteristics.
  • •Generate accurate documentation and develop mechanical calculations for heating/cooling loads, ventilation requirements, equipment sizing, energy performance analysis, and system coordination under supervision.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • •0 to 1 years of post-education experience in building engineering.
  • •Excellent research skills with an analytical mindset, plus a general understanding of mechanical engineering for building systems and large capital projects.
