Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop accounting standard operating procedures, internal controls, and maintain accounting systems and procedures.
  • •Direct, monitor, and evaluate accounting activities/processes and supervise accounting staff.
  • •Oversee weekly payables and customer refunds, and oversee preparation of daily and monthly journal entries.
  • •Oversee preparation of daily/monthly/quarterly/annual reconciliations and manage financial reporting and analysis for the client.
  • •Oversee internal and external audits (including monthly physical inventory and SOC 1 Type II), and interface with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and auditors.

Key Requirements

  • •B.A. or B.S. degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • •Active CPA license preferred but not required.
  • •7-10+ years of financial and accounting experience, including leadership overseeing accounting operations in a GAAP-compliant, high-volume transaction environment.
  • •Experience performing revenue management and process audits (tolling back-office systems preferred).
  • •Strong communication, attention to detail, organizational skills, confidentiality, and ability to work independently under strict deadlines.
