Job Summary

Lead end-to-end technical delivery for a China-based team managing and evolving CDMS-related services. Drive architecture and solution design focused on Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud to improve customer journey experiences. Translate business requirements into detailed technical designs, build and maintain scalable applications, and enforce engineering quality through code reviews and quality gates. Partner with DevOps to strengthen CI/CD, observability, and production support while resolving incidents within SLAs and mentoring developers.

Key Responsibilities

•Act as the key technical enabler for the China-based team to manage and evolve CDMS-related services.
•Lead architecture and solution design, focusing on Java/Spring Boot/Spring Cloud best practices, and produce detailed technical designs for development teams.
•Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications and services for customer journey initiatives, improving user experience through technology decisions.
•Perform code reviews and enforce secure coding principles and engineering quality gates, promoting design patterns for maintainability and reuse.
•Ensure robust production support and service management, manage incident/problem resolution within SLAs, and partner with DevOps to improve CI/CD, release reliability, and observability.

Key Requirements

•10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with a strong track record as a Senior Java Developer / Tech Lead.
•Strong expertise in Java, Spring, J2EE, and SQL, with the ability to apply object-oriented analysis/design fundamentals.
•Deep hands-on experience with Spring Boot and good knowledge of Spring Cloud and microservices architecture.
•Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs, including practical knowledge of REST and WebSocket.
•Hands-on experience with databases and platforms such as MongoDB/Redis, Kafka event-driven architecture, and Docker + Kubernetes.
