Job Summary

Provide owner’s engineer technical authority for offshore structural engineering activities related to IA/PA upgrades and brownfield tie-ins on ADNOC platforms. Lead structural review and verification for package equipment integration, including skid loading, deck assessments, FEA checks, and 3D model clash validation. Oversee lifting/rigging and structural safety inputs, review EPC structural deliverables, and support QA/QC and construction/commissioning closeout across offshore execution.

Key Responsibilities

•Act as primary authority for structural engineering activities for IA/PA upgrades, providing final approval on structural discipline matters.
•Lead structural engineering governance for integrating instrument/plant air equipment, dryers, air receivers, skid structures/platforms, and support steel, including reaction, adequacy, and reinforcement approvals.
•Lead brownfield structural assessment and tie-in engineering by reviewing as-builts/laser scans, identifying reinforcement needs, resolving structural conflicts, and verifying deck rating suitability under SIMOPS/offshore constraints.
•Review and verify EPC structural analyses (global/local FEA, deck load/punching shear, fatigue/vibration, and accidental/impact/wind-wave-seismic loads) to meet ADNOC design criteria.
•Review/approve EPC structural deliverables (drawings, welding maps/WPS/PQR/NDE requirements, MTOs, tie-in supports, demolition/modification), oversee QA/QC and fabrication assurance, and support installation/commissioning and as-built validation.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•16+ years of Oil & Gas industry experience.
•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Structural engineering or equivalent.
•Preferably experienced with Offshore Platforms projects.
•Familiarity with ADNOC Standards & Procedures.
•Proficient in AVEVA (E3D/PDMS) and SP3D for structural modelling, steel framing, clash detection, and ADNOC-aligned structural deliverables; experienced with SACS, STAAD. Ro, Tekla Structures, AutoCAD, and Navisworks for analysis and IFC/MTO outputs.
