Key Responsibilities

  • •Evaluate, select, and order equipment that is appropriate and cost effective for manufacturing company products.
  • •Oversee installation, modification, upgrades, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
  • •Keep current on equipment manufacturers’ technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues.
  • •Study equipment performance and reliability to improve uptime and resolve issues affecting the manufacturing process.
  • •Provide technical support to manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations, including defining preventative maintenance schedules.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Physics, or related engineering.
  • •3+ years of relevant experience as an Equipment Engineer in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
  • •Equipment experience with Suprema, Aspen, Kokusai dry etch processing tools.
  • •Preferred experience with Plasma, PVD, CVD, and high vacuum and/or ultra high vacuum.
  • •Working knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing and SPC techniques, including semiconductor cleanroom protocol and behaviors.
