Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead large-scale construction projects from early conception through final completion.
  • •Negotiate EPC (Engineering Procurement and Construction) contracts.
  • •Plan construction activities and develop site-specific execution plans and action item trackers.
  • •Provide contractor management and resolve disputes from third parties or within Vistra.
  • •Ensure construction deliverables are completed on time, on budget, and within safety and performance requirements, including coordinating performance tests and commissioning closeout.
Travel: Extensive travel

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of relevant experience in power generation operations, maintenance, engineering, budgeting, and contractor management.
  • •Experience leading large contract scope and providing appropriate staffing to perform construction activities.
  • •Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, communication, creative problem solving, and team-building effectiveness.
  • •Experience negotiating Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) contracts.
  • •Engineering degree from an accredited college or university is preferred, and the role will manage other project managers, construction managers, and/or design/field engineers.
