Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with architects, hardware engineers, external vendors, and other engineering teams to translate new features into analog/circuit design solutions.
  • •Work with external IPs in Analog Perspective and develop or design custom analog and digital circuits as needed for AMD AECGs requirements.
  • •Create simulation plan documentation that accounts for interactions across hardware, firmware, and use cases.
  • •Perform simulation, modeling, and analysis to ensure compliance with performance and reliability specifications.
  • •Support validation and debugging during development and post-silicon phases, and mentor junior engineers while driving continuous improvement of design methodologies.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • •Hands-on analog circuit design and integration (e.g., sensors, die-to-die interfaces, GPIOs, system-level design closures).
  • •Proficiency in circuit simulation tools such as SPICE and Cadence (or equivalent EDA platforms).
  • •Knowledge of analog design/specification closure with external third-party vendors and understanding system-level dependencies.
  • •Strong communication and problem-solving skills, including the ability to work independently on complex technical challenges.
