Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare cardboard cartons/trays for product packing by folding, taping, sorting, and labeling; ensure tape levels for tape guns/taper.
  • •Perform visual inspections of final packaging for product integrity (e.g., bag registration, code dates, prices, seals); remove out-of-specification product and communicate issues.
  • •Fill cartons/displays based on packaging specs, ensuring correct corresponding labels; apply tapes/seals when applicable.
  • •Stack cartons/trays on pallets/skids using correct stacking pattern; move finished goods with a pallet jack when applicable (up to 300 lbs).
  • •Maintain safety and hygiene by clearing loose product, discarding defective items, sweeping/keeping aisles clear, performing sanitation tasks, and assisting with line startup/changeovers and rework as needed.
