Key Responsibilities

  • •Draft, edit, and coordinate first drafts of CFTC filings for Kalshi’s DCM and DCO entities, including rule submissions, notifications, and periodic reports.
  • •Maintain calendars and project trackers for CFTC filings and responses.
  • •Manage legal administrative functions such as maintaining the Rulebook, tracking amendments, and ensuring version control.
  • •Research and summarize relevant CFTC rules, no-action letters, and guidance applicable to Kalshi’s operations.
  • •Develop project plans, timelines, and status reports for Legal and Compliance initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree required; Paralegal certification or J.D. coursework preferred.
  • •3–5 years of experience as a paralegal or legal operations professional in a regulated financial, fintech, or exchange environment.
  • •Familiarity with CFTC regulations, DCM/DCO filings, or similar frameworks strongly preferred.
  • •Exceptional organizational, writing, and project management skills.
  • •Strong proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, including deck creation.
