Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and implement features and performance improvements in Fivetran core to enable highly scalable distributed data pipelines on the cloud.
  • •Evolve the extract-load-transform integration system that supports shipping the Fivetran ELT product.
  • •Work across the project lifecycle: requirements, design, prototype, implementation, review, release, and monitoring.
  • •Review and approve technical design documents and pull requests, and improve engineering documentation and development processes.
  • •Coach and mentor other software engineers and participate in hiring through the interview process.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of software development experience in fast-paced environments.
  • •Ability to write, test, and deploy well-structured, performant code.

  • •Proficiency in object oriented/systems languages such as Java, Python, or C#, plus experience profiling, performance, and optimization.
