Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute engineering/development of VisoVac (switchgear) and related subsystems, including new feature implementation.
  • •Engineer-to-order design of network protectors for non-standard and complex requirements, converting customer requirements into design parameters.
  • •Complete system/component sizing, design, simulation, and testing activities to meet product requirements and compliance standards.
  • •Create and modify designs through change management, including tank/busbar design and complete 2D/3D deliverables in Inventor and Creo.
  • •Drive continuous improvement via tear downs, digital tools, automation opportunities, and VAVE/lean proposals; assess test results with root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mechanical engineering.
  • •3 to 6 years experience in ETO, VAVE, and product design.
  • •Experience with electromechanically distribution products, preferably switchgear or large electromechanical assemblies.
  • •Experience leading a program/project through all stages of the product development cycle.
  • •Proficiency in Inventor and 3D modelling.
