Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead commission management activities including feasibility studies, procurement reports, and detailed cost planning documentation.
  • •Manage tendering and procurement processes, including pre-qualification and negotiating/finalizing contractor accounts with cost benchmarking and MEP market analysis.
  • •Perform post-contract cost checks, valuations, and monthly cost reporting; manage cost variances and change control to protect budget integrity.
  • •Monitor contractor performance and supply chain delivery against cost and programme parameters; drive value engineering to optimize costs without compromising quality or timelines.
  • •Interface with clients and consulting teams throughout the project lifecycle and mentor junior cost management team members.

Key Requirements

  • •Chartered professional status (RICS or equivalent recognized qualification).
  • •8+ years of progressive cost management experience with substantial focus on MEP projects.
  • •Strong proficiency in cost planning, estimating, tendering, and procurement processes.
  • •Demonstrated expertise in MEP systems, supply chain management, and contractor interface coordination.
  • •Advanced proficiency with cost management software and Microsoft Office suite, plus excellent stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.
