Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the technical strategy and architecture for cloud security across CIH’s multi-cloud environment, setting direction for security and platform engineers.
  • •Design and drive adoption of safe-by-default infrastructure patterns, tooling, and automated guardrails that enable fast engineering without compromising security.
  • •Architect and evolve scalable cloud security controls across AWS, Azure, and (increasingly) GCP, covering identity, segmentation, workload, and container/Kubernetes security.
  • •Lead adoption and consolidation of CNAPP tooling (e.g., Wiz, Orca Security, Lacework, Upwind) and harmonize security posture, guardrails, and tooling across merged stacks.
  • •Provide technical escalation and senior partnership for security, including incident response for high-severity cloud security events and embedding threat modeling and architectural security review practices early in development lifecycles.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years in security engineering roles, including 4+ years focused on cloud security architecture at scale.
  • •Own cloud security strategy or architecture for a large, multi-cloud, or post-M&A environment.
  • •Deep production expertise with AWS security services (IAM, EC2, VPC, and container services like ECR/ECS/EKS) and strong working knowledge of Azure security controls.
  • •Deploy and operationalize a CNAPP (or equivalent) at an organizational level, including tool evaluation and consolidation.
  • •Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Go) for production-grade security automation and tooling.
