Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and release mechanical fixtures and tooling for safe, repeatable pilot builds/repairs and smooth handoff to production.
  • •Create and improve documentation, training content, and mechanical build procedures for NPI/pilot products.
  • •Partner with cross-functional SMEs (ME/EE/SW/Test/Manufacturing) to debug build issues and standardize mechanical interfaces.
  • •Drive engineering change discipline for parts, drawings, and revisions so pilot outcomes are scalable and auditable.
  • •Support transition and post-launch support through manufacturing-ready mechanical documentation and procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •BS in Mechanical Engineering (or related).
  • •Experience using mechanical CAD and product definition (NX, GD&T, model-based design practices).
  • •Comfort working hands-on with hardware and collaborating in a fast-moving environment.
  • •Knowledge of PLM/configuration control (Teamcenter, part number creation, ECO processes).
  • •Understanding of manufacturing-minded design including tolerance stack-ups and DFM/DFA, safety, and fixture robustness.
