Key Responsibilities

  • •Effectively manage a portfolio of litigated MOJ/OICP quantum files and handle quantum cases efficiently and proactively.
  • •Set reserves and strategy on new instructions and manage technical aspects of each file, including assessing general and special damages.
  • •Use telephone negotiation techniques to obtain appropriate settlements and set negotiation parameters where needed.
  • •Review, record and file documents (including completing an initial review file note, filing AoS, preparing brief to Counsel, and drafting court documents).
  • •Update reserves upon receipt of evidence, meet agreed performance targets, and adhere to Client Guidelines, ISO 9001 and the SRA Code of Conduct 2011.

  • •File handling experience within a law practice or insurer.
