Job Summary

Lead IFRS 17 financial reporting and capital forecasting for insurance products, owning modeling methodology, inputs, controls and UAT. Serve as SME for IFRS 17 planning tools, driving scenario design, stress testing, and risk insights for senior management. Collaborate with Global Finance, Risk and Actuarial teams to ensure accurate, auditable outputs and governance.

Key Responsibilities

•Own and maintain IFRS 17 financials and capital forecasting models, translating requirements into specifications for build and change delivery.
•Provide SME ownership of the IFRS 17 reporting tools, especially the Planning and Forecasting model, ensuring accuracy, punctuality and fitness-for-purpose of reporting deliverables.
•Vulnerability analysis and scenario design to horizon scan balance sheet risks and update senior management with macroeconomic/insurance drivers.
•Contribute to end-to-end stress testing governance, translating scenarios into modelling assumptions and KPI impacts with group-wide consistency.
•Oversee the model change lifecycle ( intake, prioritisation, specification, delivery, testing/UAT, validation and sign-off), plus data quality checks and governance controls.

Key Requirements

•Deep understanding of IFRS 17 and capital forecasting within the insurance space is required.
