Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive application development for industrial market segments by leveraging deep technical knowledge of applications and technologies.
  • •Translate long-term company strategy into objectives and action plans, including resource/equipment selection and allocation.
  • •Provide strategic leadership for tools, systems, and processes that improve technical service, application development, and project management effectiveness.
  • •Act as a technical expert for targeted markets, directing other R&D groups and collaborating with the Industrial Market Manager and Sales.
  • •Lead teamwork and collaboration, including developing direct reports through hiring and training efforts.

Key Requirements

  • •BS in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, Polymer Science & Engineering, or Chemistry (MS preferred).
  • •8-10+ years of industry experience with polyolefin resins used in targeted applications.
  • •General knowledge of HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE and PP resin technologies with a business/market focus.
  • •Preferred experience in PP/PE film, blow molding, or injection molding industries.
  • •Ability to provide strong leadership and influence stakeholders across functions and targeted markets.
