Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and implement inspection, testing, and quality control methodologies for manufacturing and production equipment, including interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T.
  • •Support product qualification, reliability testing, process validation, First Article Inspection, and release readiness while establishing risk-based quality gates.
  • •Lead structured root-cause investigations (8D, CAPA, DMAIC, Fishbone, 5-Why, Pareto) and drive corrective and preventive actions to reduce defects and repeat issues.
  • •Support customer quality issues and escalations with containment activities and customer-ready technical summaries, feeding learnings back into manufacturing controls and training.
  • •Analyze operational data to improve quality and performance, build KPIs/dashboards and lead Lean/Six Sigma continuous improvement projects.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Physical Sciences, or a related technical discipline.
  • •Quality, manufacturing, product, supplier, customer, process, test, or reliability engineering experience in semiconductor capital equipment or a comparable complex manufacturing environment.
  • •Experience with structured corrective action systems (e.g., 8D/CAPA) and quality methods such as RCA/SPC/MSA/FMEA/Control Plans.
  • •Experience with quality in customer escalations, factory/supplier recovery, installation or startup issues, and audit readiness.
  • •Experience with analytics dashboards and continuous improvement (Lean Six Sigma) in manufacturing operations.
