Key Responsibilities

  • •Report to front line leadership and work as a team member to obtain plant and departmental goals.
  • •Ensure production jobs run to cycle specifications for maximum yields and analyze molding defects to determine root cause.
  • •Respond to alarms and take corrective action involving quality issues and minor machine/mold/auxiliary equipment repairs.
  • •Assist with improvement of production cell set-ups, including process/cycles and scrap-reduction efforts to improve efficiencies.
  • •Maintain detailed reporting records, lot control traceability, and control of non-conforming product while following ISO/SOP work instructions and safety standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Capable of physical mobility including sitting, bending, twisting, standing, and lifting, including periodic lifting up to 35 lbs.
  • •Capable of reading, writing, and speaking English and operating a forklift safely with certification.
  • •Some computer experience and strong mechanical aptitude to interpret instructions and process requirements.
  • •Ability to problem-solve, analyze molding defects, and use basic math tools like rulers, micrometers, and calipers.
  • •Working knowledge of molding theory and ability to interpret traveler/work orders is preferred.
