Key Responsibilities

  • •Diagnose, evaluate, and manage patients requiring plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgical procedures.
  • •Perform plastic surgery procedures according to clinical privileges and established standards of care.
  • •Develop individualized treatment plans and provide pre-operative, operative, and post-operative care.
  • •Assess and manage trauma-related soft tissue injuries, burns, scars, and congenital or acquired deformities.
  • •Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, maintain accurate clinical documentation, participate in outpatient/inpatient care and on-call duties, and support quality improvement and continuing medical education.

Key Requirements

  • •Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) recognized by the Department of Health (DOH), Abu Dhabi.
  • •Completion of an accredited residency and specialty training program in Plastic Surgery.
  • •Board Certification in Plastic Surgery (e.g., Arab Board, European Board, American Board, Canadian Board, UK CCT, Australian Fellowship, or equivalent).
  • •Eligibility for DOH licensure as a Specialist Plastic Surgery or possession of a valid DOH license.
  • •3 to 5 years of post-specialization experience as a Specialist Plastic Surgeon, with expertise in reconstructive, cosmetic, and microsurgical procedures.
