Key Responsibilities

  • •Identify international tax issues, perform technical tax research and participate in hands-on work on multiple international tax projects including modeling impacts of tax initiatives and developments.
  • •Manage permanent establishment risks, collaborating with Legal, HR, International Payroll, Global Mobility and other departments to mitigate risks and set up international structures, documentation and processes.
  • •Partner with foreign tax advisors for foreign country tax planning and compliance, including filing of foreign income tax returns.
  • •Prepare international tax compliance calculations and documentation for the U.S. federal income tax return (Forms 1118, 5471, 8858, 8993) and assist with other U.S. reporting (e.g., Form 1042).
  • •Prepare country-by-country reports concerning foreign operations and manage external advisors’ preparation of local country files.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS degree required.
  • •Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in international tax planning and compliance, including public accounting background.
  • •Extensive technical tax knowledge and advisory experience enabling independent work and sound recommendations.
  • •Knowledge of check-the-box election planning, permanent establishment, transfer pricing, and VAT.
  • •Experience in international tax reporting and compliance including FDII, GILTI, and foreign tax credits.
