Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical guidance for the design, development, and construction of transmission and distribution substations, including single-line and bus arrangements, grounding and lightning protection."
  • •Develop plans, specifications, and cost estimates; coordinate with owners, disciplines, and clients to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • •Prepare technical reports and presentations explaining research, findings, and recommendations to address design and construction issues.
  • •Lead and mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and QA/QC oversight on design deliverables and fieldwork.
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute multiple projects, manage costs, quantities, and schedules, and ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • •5 to 7 years of relevant post-education experience as an electrical engineer providing design deliverables for large capital projects.
  • •Engineering Intern, Engineer in Training, or equivalent certification
  • •Experience working with Operations and project controls for purposes of reporting and proposal development
  • •Proficient knowledge of electrical engineering principles, practices, process, design/build, and the application to permitting and project work-related issues
