Key Responsibilities

•Provide technical guidance for the design, development, and construction of transmission and distribution substations, including single-line and bus arrangements, grounding and lightning protection."
•Develop plans, specifications, and cost estimates; coordinate with owners, disciplines, and clients to ensure compliance with project requirements.
•Prepare technical reports and presentations explaining research, findings, and recommendations to address design and construction issues.
•Lead and mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and QA/QC oversight on design deliverables and fieldwork.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute multiple projects, manage costs, quantities, and schedules, and ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
•5 to 7 years of relevant post-education experience as an electrical engineer providing design deliverables for large capital projects.
•Engineering Intern, Engineer in Training, or equivalent certification
•Experience working with Operations and project controls for purposes of reporting and proposal development
•Proficient knowledge of electrical engineering principles, practices, process, design/build, and the application to permitting and project work-related issues
