Own end-to-end supply chain for the Intelligence & Space business line, driving strategic sourcing and cost engineering across the product lifecycle. Partner with engineering, quality, and manufacturing to onboard and develop suppliers, select components, manage BOM risk, and ensure on-time delivery at target cost. Lead value-stream mapping, cost modeling, manufacturing BOM consolidation, and ad-hoc cost issue resolution (e.g., tariffs/import-export and inflation).

Key Responsibilities

•Be end-to-end owner of supply chain for the Intelligence & Space business line, including engineering support, vendor onboarding/development, and total BOM sourcing, pricing, and negotiation.
•Deep dive engineering BOMs to ensure parts can be sourced and procured at target levels.
•Conduct supplier selection and onboard unique vendors to meet Space & Intelligence needs.
•Drive on-time delivery by addressing supply constraints through sourcing and supplier partnership activities (e.g., concept scoping, trade tables, should-cost models, joint design, simulations).
•Manage manufacturing BOM development, program total cost (NPI through mass production), value-stream mapping, BOM risk assessments, and component qualification completion ahead of production.

Travel: High travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 146,000 - 194,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical field.
•8+ years sourcing engineering, supplier engagement/development, or design of electronics and/or mechanical devices.
•Domain expertise in value/procurement engineering or TCO-related work at the component and product level.
•Active U.S. Secret or TS clearance and ability to maintain clearance.
•Ability to travel 10%–40% and relocate to be onsite in Reston, VA if not already local.
