Lead structural engineering for utility-scale PV projects, managing a structural engineering team from development through construction. Oversee steel design, component sizing, foundation calculations, and structural documentation that support project quoting and EPC engineering packages. Drive advanced structural analysis and tool development in partnership with R&D/software teams, coordinate with third-party experts, and ensure designs comply with applicable codes and regulations. Partner cross-functionally with U.S., India, and global stakeholders to deliver multiple projects efficiently.

•Direct a team of Structural Engineers in the U.S. and support regions.
•Perform detailed structural analysis and calculations to ensure solar structure integrity and safety.
•Develop advanced structural analysis tools in coordination with R&D and software teams.
•Coordinate with third-party experts for wind tunnel testing, component analysis, and lifecycle testing.
•Ensure designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations and industry standards while leading multiple projects for EPC customers.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 200,000 - 230,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
•Minimum 10 years of experience in structural engineering, ideally in the EPC solar industry.
•Hands-on structural analysis and design for dead, live, snow, wind, and seismic loads, including steel and concrete structures and construction documents.
•Advanced proficiency with finite element analysis tools such as RISA 3D and STAAD (or equivalent).
•Professional Engineering (PE) license in multiple states and strong knowledge of engineering codes and standards (IBC, ASCE, ASTM, AISC, AISI, ACI).
