Key Responsibilities

  • •Start with bespoke training and progress to carrying out hands-on statutory inspections.
  • •Provide expert opinions on a wide range of equipment to help clients comply with legislation and required standards.
  • •Report back after inspections using a rugged laptop and issue electronically to clients.
  • •Represent Zurich Engineering while managing your own diary and servicing your own client area.
  • •Work as part of a multi-disciplined inspection team and provide a field-based service from home with client travel.

Salary: GBP 57,594

Key Requirements

  • •An experienced engineer with sound knowledge of your engineering discipline and experience working in a relevant engineering role.
  • •Ideally a Level 4 qualification (HND/HNC etc.) in a relevant engineering field, with minimum Level 3 (training offered).
  • •Either time served experience or Modern Apprenticeship.
  • •Hands-on experience in a relevant engineering discipline, with an advantage being experience working with lifts and/or crane equipment (manufacturing/repair/maintenance/mechanical/motor trade).
  • •A full valid UK driving licence and willingness/ability to work paid overtime.
