Key Responsibilities

  • •Install telematics systems and devices on vehicles, construction equipment, heavy equipment, and customer assets
  • •Operate machinery at times during installation for testing purposes
  • •Remove and replace ignition systems without custom keypad/controller, then integrate communication between keypad and telematics systems
  • •Work through installation scenarios including power/ignition/ground and complex custom wiring harnesses for CAN network access
  • •Travel to client sites or equipment rental yards across the region; occasionally work weekends or outside business hours

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent (trade school certificate preferred)
  • •Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools with attention to detail
  • •Experience in a related field (e.g., electrician, HVAC tech, car audio installer) or willingness to be trained
  • •Own tools (a few specialty tools provided)
  • •Ability to travel within a 250 mile radius for up to a week at a time and pass a background check and 10-panel drug screen
