Job Summary

Support technical management for ride and/or show attractions within a defined area of responsibility, including ride/show engineering specifications for show action equipment. Assist ride/show teams with calculations, design, drafting, and research; review vendor design deliverables; and edit/update engineering documentation. Help manage vendors through bidding, manufacturing, testing, shipping, installation, commissioning, and contribute to environmental, health, and safety responsibilities while executing and approving test protocols and results.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide engineering technical assistance (calculation, design, drafting, research) to ride/show teams for show action equipment scopes of work.
•Review vendor-provided design review documents, including drawings, component selection, calculations, test plans, and test results.
•Edit and update ride/show engineering specifications assigned by ride/show engineering management for show action equipment delivery.
•Assist with vendor management across bidding, designing, manufacturing, testing, shipping, installation, startup, and commissioning.
•Review, edit, or develop test protocols and procedures, and execute or approve witness testing and test results as authorized by Engineering & Safety management.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in an applicable technical field (e.g., Technical Theatre, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering) or equivalent demonstrated skill and experience.
•Experience in theme-park specific technical/engineering roles supporting show action equipment (e.g., technical theatre, stage equipment, rigging systems) or related technical field experience.
•Project experience in the entertainment/theme park industry is preferred.
•Preferred experience in theme park development, construction, show and ride systems design, or fabrication.
•Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical/diagram form and to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
