Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the design and serve as the senior subject matter expert on instrumentation and control systems for mining and heavy industrial facilities.
  • •Oversee control philosophy, system architecture, and functional specifications for complex process systems.
  • •Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and process engineering teams to ensure fully integrated project solutions.
  • •Drive innovation by applying advanced automation, digitalization, and control technologies.
  • •Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and quality reviews across project teams through concept, commissioning, and operational optimization.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 122,100 - 179,100 annually

Key Requirements

  • •At least 18+ years of electrical engineering design experience supporting heavy industrial facilities.
  • •Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or related Engineering discipline.
  • •Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility in Canada.
  • •Extensive experience leading and delivering instrumentation and controls engineering within mining or heavy industrial sectors.
  • •Strong expertise in PLC, DCS, SCADA systems, and process automation platforms, including commissioning and troubleshooting experience.
