Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and develop claims teams by coaching, setting expectations, providing feedback, recognizing performance, and overseeing training and onboarding.
  • •Direct day-to-day claims operations to ensure timely, accurate, customer-focused processing by monitoring workflow, service levels, quality, staffing, and productivity.
  • •Serve as an escalation point for complex or sensitive claims and operational issues, ensuring consistent and effective handling with current procedures and tools.
  • •Lead through change by communicating clearly, maintaining engagement and performance during transformation, and supporting implementations of new products and technologies.
  • •Drive results and continuous improvement using data and insights to simplify processes, improve service, strengthen performance measures, and encourage innovation.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of relevant experience in claims processing, insurance, annuities, financial services, or related areas, including 2+ years of formal or informal leadership.
  • •Experience with annuity and/or financial services products; knowledge of annuity administration systems and procedures preferred.
  • •Proven ability to coach, develop, motivate, and empower teams while sustaining performance, engagement, and accountability through change.
  • •Strong operational judgment and critical-thinking to manage competing priorities, complex cases, escalations, and business risk.
  • •Demonstrated ability to use data, insights, technology, and AI-enabled tools to improve performance, capacity, processes, and customer outcomes.
