Director of Engineering to lead, scale, and mature a global remote engineering organization. Drive modernization of the development lifecycle, integrate AI into processes, mentor Engineering Managers and Software Engineers, ensure system scalability, security, and performance of high-volume ad tech platforms, and establish metrics to improve delivery velocity while maintaining data privacy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead, mentor, and grow a diverse, fully remote engineering team; build a culture of accountability, technical excellence, and psychological safety; structure pods for autonomy with clear career ladders
•Oversee architectural integrity, security, and performance of high-volume, low-latency ad tech infrastructure; balance feature delivery with modernization and cost optimization
•Partner with Product Management to ensure engineering pods are empowered, cross-functional, and focused on customer outcomes
•Establish and monitor core engineering metrics (e.g., DORA, SPACE) to identify bottlenecks and improve delivery velocity; lead AI-augmented development tool adoption
•Maintain robust data privacy, compliance, and security standards across engineering operations

Key Requirements

•10+ years of engineering experience with at least 5+ years managing engineering managers in a fast-growing SaaS, Ad Tech, or high-data volume environment
•Proven track record of building and scaling fully remote engineering teams
•Deep understanding of modern cloud architecture and distributed systems, with the ability to make smart architectural trade-offs
•Experience applying and measuring engineering productivity using frameworks such as DORA or SPACE
•Strategic mindset with the ability to drive AI-augmented development tools adoption and improve delivery velocity
