Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead a specialized practice area within Eaton’s Law Department and provide legal counsel to Eaton’s businesses.
  • •Provide legal support for Eaton’s real estate/manufacturing footprint capacity growth initiative globally.
  • •Manage high-volume, complex real estate portfolio transactions for leased and owned facilities, mitigating legal and regulatory risk.
  • •Lead legal/real estate analysis for business capacity needs, including sitting options/strategies, diligence, contracting, and negotiations to meet growth objectives.
  • •Advise on a variety of transactions (leases, sales/acquisitions, sale-leasebacks/financing vehicles, construction projects) and support real estate/construction dispute management and resolution.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 200,000 - 266,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university; Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school; active license to practice law in the United States.
  • •Minimum of 10 years of experience as an actively licensed attorney.
  • •Proven track record of at least 10 years negotiating real estate and construction transactions across commercial and legal risk areas.
  • •Ability to tailor legal advice and solutions to Eaton’s various business segment growth needs.
  • •Strong problem-solving, organizational skills, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
