Key Responsibilities

  • •Own end-to-end offer strategy and economics, balancing growth, retention, discount mix, and margin impact.
  • •Design and maintain discount frameworks and commercial policy guardrails, including approval thresholds, stacking rules, and eligibility logic.
  • •Build visibility, tracking, and experimentation plans to measure promotional performance and cannibalization risk.
  • •Set rules for evergreen and seasonal promotions (e.g., Black Friday, back-to-school, New Year) with partners across Pricing, Marketing, Growth, and Regional teams.
  • •Manage an exceptions process for non-standard offers and advise teams on P&L impact and regulatory compliance across markets.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of experience in pricing, promotions, commercial strategy, or a related field, including managing promotions for a global consumer company.
  • •Track record building scalable frameworks and policies for promotions (systems/guardrails rather than one-off campaigns).
  • •Strong financial and analytical fluency to quantify trade-offs between growth, retention, and margin for senior stakeholders.
  • •Experience partnering cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Marketing, and Data/Analytics teams.
  • •Experience in subscription or marketplace consumer businesses (edtech, media, e-commerce, or similar).
