Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop maintenance strategies, equipment maintenance plans, and detailed work schedules aligned with operational priorities, statutory requirements, and resource availability.
  • •Coordinate with supervisors, tradespeople, and contractors to create executable maintenance schedules and ensure planned work is ready for safe, efficient execution.
  • •Prioritise and coordinate work orders based on asset criticality, safety requirements, statutory obligations, and operational risk.
  • •Maintain planning and scheduling data within SAP, including maintenance plans, work instructions, task lists, bills of materials, and asset master data.
  • •Monitor schedule compliance, work order performance, and maintenance backlog health, and provide maintenance performance reporting and planning insights.

Key Requirements

  • •Trade qualification (Electrical, Mechanical, or similar) with maintenance execution experience in heavy industrial, mining or utilities environments.
  • •Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler role supporting fixed plant, utilities, processing, infrastructure or heavy industrial assets.
  • •Demonstrated experience using SAP PM and maintenance work management systems to develop maintenance plans, schedule work, and manage maintenance backlogs.
  • •Strong understanding of maintenance planning and scheduling principles, including resource loading, materials management, contractor coordination, and outage planning.
  • •Experience developing maintenance plans and schedules for statutory and compliance-based maintenance programs, including fixed fire protection systems.
