Key Responsibilities

  • •Design enhancements, updates, and programming changes for end-user applications software subsystems across local, networked, and internet-based platforms.
  • •Analyze designs to determine coding, programming, and integration activities aligned to overall product or solution architecture.
  • •Investigate, debug, and resolve technical issues reported by users or found during testing and usage.
  • •Write and execute complete testing plans, protocols, and documentation for assigned application portions.
  • •Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA teams; lead project team activities for assigned portions and coordinate with internal and outsourced development partners.

Key Requirements

  • •4-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or commensurate work experience.
  • •Typically 4-7 years of work experience in applications engineering, programming, or related field.
  • •Strong analytical and programming skills in C/C++/Java/Kotlin.
  • •Deep understanding of Android architecture and Android framework (MM framework, Android System UI components).
  • •Experience with SCM and development tools such as Git (GitHub/Gerrit) and optionally Perforce/ClearCase, plus Android Studio and/or Visual Studio.
