Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and develop new algorithms and technology for automated clock-tree synthesis in the Innovus place-and-route tool.
  • •Develop code in C++ and Tcl within a distributed software development environment with global contributors.
  • •Maintain and improve existing code to enhance scalability, reduce tool turnaround time, and lower memory footprint.
  • •Debug customer issues, fix bugs, and ensure the software is functionally correct.
  • •Build unit tests, run regressions, and validate new algorithmic developments and software integration on industrial test cases.

Key Requirements

  • •Complete a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or another numerate discipline such as Physics or Mathematics.
  • •Strong programming and software engineering experience in a C-like language (e.g., C/C++/Java/C#/Rust).
  • •Interest in software engineering including language features, data structures, design patterns, unit testing, and automation tools.
  • •Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Portuguese, and ability to work in a team.
  • •Ability to meet stringent deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
