Job Summary

Join a training program to become a Retail Personal Banker I, rotating through operations and Sales & Service with a certification at completion. Use a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles, recommend retail consumer and small business solutions, and drive appointments via CAMP and approved marketing tools. Cross-sell, refer to business partners, support teller and platform staff activities, and help meet customer experience and production goals.

Key Responsibilities

•Complete a 4-8 week onboarding and education program with rotations in operations and Sales & Service, leading to a certification.
•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify financial needs.
•Recommend appropriate retail consumer and small business products/services and maintain in-depth product knowledge.
•Utilize CAMP and approved marketing tools to reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
•Process teller transactions and work as a member of the platform staff while cross-selling and supporting sales/referral activities.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Experience in the financial industry preferred.
•Demonstrated ability to develop comfort level with sales activities to acquire new customers and/or cross-sell to existing customers.
•Ability to demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information.
•S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
